Website Project

Overview

A week ago, we were assigned a web design project that showcased two of our favorite projects in the rotations that we've been through so far.
Using videos as a tool from our instructor, we followed along with their steps and created a website.

 How It Went

Along the way, there were plenty of technical struggles. One major road bump that my computer just couldn't work with was wrapping the text around my logo. After spending around twenty minutes working on it, and another ten from classmates, I finally surrendered. I also found the coding confusing, so I spent the majority of my time in the design mode. Other than these small frustrations, the project actually went pretty smoothly. In the end, I'm proud of how it turned out and I wouldn't change anything about it.

 What I've Learned

Overall, I took away a lot more about web design than I went into the project with. Although I could use some improvement on coding, I think I did a pretty good job for someone who's never used dreamweaver or any web design programs. In the long run, what I've learned over the past week has advanced my knowledge in web, which I can possibly use in my future career, whatever it may be.
