My Personality Type

After taking the personality quiz, I tested to be ESFP. ESFPs are Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Perceiving. They are energized by time spent with others, making decisions based on their feelings, and they prefer to be more spontaneous rather than organized. Typically welcoming and talkative, ESFPs like to charm and engage those around them. Their sense of humor is open, and they like to help others have a good time. 


For the most part, I believe this test applied to my personality. The 28% of extrovert was a bit shocking to me though, since I'm only extremely social when I'm around my friends. Although I can see where some of the extroversion comes from, and that "not as social" wall comes down when I'm apart of large crowds. When in smaller groups, I'm capable of taking the role of a leader, but as the group continues to get bigger, my chance of participating gets smaller if I don't know those around me well. As for sensing, feeling, and perceiving, my preference over the other option is only slight, putting me on either side of the situation at times.
I haven't had any big issues due to conflicting personality types, but those who tend to be more extroverted than me always push me to do more things that are outside my comfort zone. Their pushes help though, as I definitely think that I've become more social because of them. 

Animal Personality Type:

My animal personality type was a Golden Retriever. Golden Retrievers don't like big changes, they look for protection and appreciation, as well as working best in a steady work environment. Their strengths include being calm and affirming. Although their weaknesses are their indecisiveness, and their inability to express their emotions.    
My second highest result was an otter, with a lion closely following, and the beaver in last. 
I think this test was accurate for my personality because most of the described "traits" actually correspond with myself. I highly agree with the indecisive, calm and hesitant toward big changes. Overall, I was surprised to find that an internet quiz was actually extremely accurate when compared to my real personality, and I can see it applying to situations in the future.

First Semester of Junior Year Graphic Design Reflection Throughout my first semester in graphic design, I've gotten the opportunity to go more in depth with design processes like patterning, illustration, and branding. From each of these projects, I have taken away at least one of the five guarantees of eComm. The most relevant of them being technology, as we spend most of our days designing on the computers. I've learned a lot of new features in our software this semester, especially the type that relates to patterning. I first used it with our patterns for the subscription box project, turning my designs into swatches and replicating them for the dielines. High School Movie Trailer

Ferris Bueller Trailer Remake           For this project, we were assigned to do a shot by shot remake of a movie trailer taking place in high school. Collectively as a class, we had to brainstorm which movies we'd be interested in. We were placed into groups based off of our favorite ideas from there. I was put into the Ferris Bueller group, which was my top vote, so it was a relief. From the start, my group was very organized in getting everything ready to film. We set up a google doc and had all of the shots organized, the costumes sorted out, and formulated a prop list.  One of the best decisions we made during pre-production was casting mostly inside of our group. It really helped with scheduling later on.
